Adding to the very popular 250W quarter-brick range of high-reliability DC/DC Converters for mission-critical applications, GAIA Converter introduces the MGDS-250-O-J module. This module offers a permanent input voltage range of 16 to 75 VDC (up to 80 VDC for 1 second) and an output of 28 VDC. The output voltage is trimmable from 80% to 110% of nominal.
The design utilizes a fixed switching frequency of 330 kHz and provides optional switching frequency synchronization (105% to 115% of nominal) for multi-module architectures. With an efficiency of up to 90% and numerous features such as Undervoltage Lock-Out, Over-Voltage Protection, and IMS to ease thermal management, the MGDS-250-O-J offers an easy-to-use, high-performance solution in the quarter-brick, medium power product range of GAIA Converter.
